Shipping policy

We ship dormant bare-root plants only, so orders don't ship immediately. Each order ships in its season's window, timed to the right planting time for your USDA zone. Find your zone and dates.

• Spring: March 15 – July 30, by zone. All zones.
• Fall: November 15 – March 15, by zone. Zone 6 and warmer only.

Order-by dates on the site are reminders; orders placed after them still ship that season while stock lasts. Tracking is emailed when your order ships.

Cost

• Free shipping on orders of $75 or more.
• Under $75, a flat rate based on your order total, starting at $9.95, shown at checkout.
• Carts with both spring and fall plants ship twice; a $9.95 second-shipment charge applies, waived when each season's plants total $75 or more.

Where and how

• 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C. only.
• Shipped by UPS or USPS, our choice.
• Some plants can't ship to certain states under state agricultural rules; each product page lists them, and we refund any plant we can't ship to you.
